The wind of change...

The subjectiveness of temperature

Since a few days weather is changing over here, winter is coming. December will be the coldest month here, after December we can expect temperature to rise again. While writing this I cannot stop laughing. All Mexicans here in Tuxtla are acting like crazy. They are shivering all the time, wearing at least three layers with long sleeves. The new ice age is aparantly approaching, I hope Jon Snow knows what he's doing... You need to know... We are still hitting 28 degrees in the middle of the day and at night we don't go below 20 degrees... It is cloudy though and sometimes you can feel a cold (read refreshing, up to my perspective) stream of air stroking your face very gently (read thunderstorm, up to the Mexican perspective), so for the sake of the argument let's say the temperature feels like it is 5 degrees lower than the actual temperature due to the "cold" wind. I don't know how about you, but with a temperature of 20 degrees or more and a slight refreshing breeze I feel like having a cocktail next to the pool... Apparently Mexicans are reptiles and they need at least 30 degrees or there might be a high risk of freezing to death. :) To fit in a little bit I wore my sweater today, tomorrow I'm going for a simple shirt, I know I'll get some weird looks but today I almost melted. And out of all the possible ways to meet your end, melting seems to me a very unpleasant way to go.

Warm/cold greetings from Tuxtla.
